About This Event
We wanted to help showcase all Portobello PR’s incredible clients through styling by allowing each brand to shine, whilst maintaining a cohesive feel. The theme was holiday resort and we drew inspiration from Slim Aaron’s stunning imagery.
We chose a summery pastel colour palette and wavy lines which could be seen throughout all the signage, props and furniture and florals. One of the first things guests saw as they walked into the main space was a giant pink and white striped lilypad, reminiscent of Slim Aaron’s photo, with a retro sun-lounger and umbrella. We designed fun summery imagery for the mirrors to provide the perfect selfie backdrop.
Another focal point was the pink and white striped backdrop to the yellow beauty bar and green and white checkered floor. Guests were invited to get their hair and makeup done while checking out all the brands. We incorporated beautiful colourful florals and summer fruit, with props and branded plinths to show off each brand.
